Everything started, but bugger all finished | Sunrise over the Salt Lakes |
This was the only holiday we have taken over the Christmas period. It was also pre VT. Mixed emotions really about this holiday, on the one hand it was great to get away for Christmas, but on the other hand there were one or two sad tales. I believe that Tunisia has changed a great deal since we were there, so I can only give you an account of what it was like when we visited the country. |
| | Moggies, Moggies everywhere No matter where we go, we seem to be adopted by our feline friends. This little crowd was only about a half that used to hang about outside the hotel reatraunt, waiting for any scraps of food the quests would give them. Great fun to watch. |
| | Plenty to see and do During the day we found Tunisia great. Tunisia has some great historical buildings and are well worth the visit, even if you are not the type to do such a thing. A trip to Tunis is also worth the visit. |

DAO Sat Dec 27, 2008 17:51 UTC Happy New Year to you and Sheila!!! | ASWADPOWER Sat Oct 18, 2008 23:53 UTC I am sorry that you & your wife had a hard time in shopping area of Tunisia - maybe you should have reported the shop keep to the police then, that will send a powerful message to shop keepers. | angiebabe Sun Jul 20, 2008 00:58 UTC Youve had an interesting slant on Tunisia!-Ivenot heard any bad language,in English anyway!,the hard work id done getting to know Morocco paid off for my T trip&Id love to go back-but yes still has the rip off merchants wanting to get heaps for nothing. | starship Sun Aug 27, 2006 01:16 UTC It is really disturbing to hear about the shopkeepers here. You'd think they'd get the point that you'd get more customers by being nice. We are supposed to land there for one day while on a cruise next year. Too bad. |
