| | Waifs and Strays May I introduce our 1st waif and stray. She is called Ebony, aka Ebby. We aquired her on New Years Eve in 2003. Her previous owner (a little old lady) died just before Christmas. When Ebony arrived she was very overweight, thanks to a diet of chocolate biscuits. The old lady was also a large lady. When she took Ebony for a walk, the locals used to have a little laugh, because these two used to both waddle down the street. We put Ebony on a diet, and she has now come down to her ideal weight. You would not believe it if you were to see her running around like a puppy, but she is 14+ Ebony greets everyone with a howl, and has the best temprement I have ever known in a dog. A little treasure.
Wednesday 25.2.2009 Ebony passed away today. |
More Waifs and Strays This is our 2nd waif and stray. She is called Megan, aka Megs, aka Fat Cat. We aquired her in August 2004. The family who owned her had moved house and were finding it difficult to look after her, and give her the attention she deserved. She is the greatest impersonator of a log I know. She does move sometimes, usually for food. Can be found asleep just about anywhere in the house. A real idle BAG. Fat Cat has no tail, she lost it with an arguement with a car when she was a kitten. Now aged about 6, she has mastered sleeping to a fine art.
| | My Home, Triangle Triangle is a small village on the outskirts of Halifax in West Yorkshire. So tiny is this village, it is not even a 1 horse town, rather we have to share a donkey with the next Village. Pictue shown shows Triangle at the turn of the centuary. Nowts changed |
Mad about Meekats Hello everyone my name is Sheila. Unfortunately I am married to Ricky. Some people have their problems, he's mine. This is my little collection of Meerkats, I love them. I have even adopted one at Chester Zoo.chesterzoo Ornaments of Meerkats were until recently very hard to come by. My pride and joy are the group of three Meekats pictured in the centre at the back. These were a special commisioned piece by the ceramic artist Nick Mackman nickmackman
| | Old Friend Found this photo of one of our previous cats. He was called Thomas. Sadly he left home one day and never returned. He used to like sleeping in my Curry Pan. |
