St. Lucia has always been one of my favourite islands in the Caribbean.
The first visit was in the 70's later it became more touristy but still beautiful.
When not to go sightseeing is when the ships come in and disgorge hundreds of tourist at the same time on the island
I love the market in Castries which is very colourful and offers a variety of local dishes to choose from.
