Over the edge: Yes, really over the edge of the sea

We went twice to this restaurant, the first time the food was excellent but the second time we were a bit disappointed must have the the cook's day off.

Get away from the 7 mile beach crowd and visit this local restaurant where you rub shoulders with the local residents. A bar with a noisy crowd greets you at the entrance. Outside is a wharf-style terrace. The views are of the sea with its irresdence blues and greens.
Lunches are Cayman-style steamed fish, pan-fried conch steak, turtle steak with port sauce, sandwiches stuffed with either tuna or mahimahi, and chef's salads.

Favorite Dish: Akee and saltfish, a Jamaican speciality but very popular local dish in Cayman.

Creative dishes - the chef really goes to town on mixing his ingredients from spicy to special concoctions of coconut with lemon grass making for delightful surprises to the palate.

Favorite Dish: I especially enjoyed the 3x Indian style Crab as starters which was very creative in its presentation. Look at the photo and you will see what I mean.

Also available for a quick lunch are small pastries and sandwiches and aromatic teas.

Lobster Pot: Lobster, whatelse!

One of the long standing restaurants in Grand Cayman which has kept up its quality of food and service. Always full so make sure you reserve a table, there are two sittings one and 6:30pm and the other at 8:30.

The Wharf: Dine under the stars

The best restaurant on the island with very tempting dishes and while you eat watch the sun go down and revell in the magic of the evening under the glow of the stars.
Don't forget to wait for the feeding of the tarpons at 9pm. The children absolutely love it.

Favorite Dish: Fish, fish and more fish in all variations. The lamb is also tender and I would recommend
