After our visit in January 04 we couldnt wait to return to this amazing island.
The friendly people, their customs and the sceneries were so impressive that after a couple months we returned.
It was amazing they just attached a rope to our train and travelled piggy back up hill. |

Tea country Ceylon tea is being priced out in preference to tea from Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi and other common market for eastern and southern African countries.
These women climb up and down the hills every day picking tea leaves for less than 1 Euro a day. | | |
