This is my first attempt at creating a travel page but New Zealand is a fantastic destination for my first subject.

I first visited in 1999, have just returned from a two month trip and am currently planning a trip for 2007/8. Loads of people say they'd love to go but don't talk about it, just go! Yes, the flight is expensive and yes, it takes ages but NZ is a wonderful place and the people are lovely. You will have your best holiday ever.

Remember the seasons are the wrong way round for those of us from the northern hemisphere but NZ is so long that you will find good weather somewhere. We had 30C and plenty of beach time when we visited in "winter" but we also had snow - I've never had snow on my birthday (August 17th) before!! This time we visited in the NZ summer and enjoyed wonderful weather, hot and sunny for most of the time and also the heaviest rain I think I have ever experienced!! Goes to show you should always be prepared - as Billy Connolly said there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Relaxed, friendly, awesome natural features.
Cons:It's a long way from UK!

I love your 2006 NZ revisited page! Brings back so many memories... I've also done a tandem jump, but I did the tongariro instead of Ruapehu. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Nice page - we spent Christmas at Hicks Bay and I loved Raukokore church. Missed the penguins, but with luck we may head back there again this Christmas too.

the glass panels sound really scarey...but would be good to go on...and the warehouse...they must be everywhere..we have them as well.!!!!
