adelaide is a pleasant enough city located in the state of south australia. often the butt of jokes of people from other aussie cities, adelaide is alot more chilled out and quiet, which often gives it its tag of "boring".
adelaide to me was a bit too quiet and boring. it doesnt have the big city feel, even though it does have a population of 1 million people. what adelaide does have going for it is beautiful countryside, the wine country and pristine beaches. get out of the city for a more wonderful time!
even though adelaide bored enough to make sure i never fly there again, i did have a lovely time thanks to my dear friend who i met in london. she was the whole reason of my visit. oh well, at least i can say i've been there now!

Love the shot of the train station, it brings back memories of arriving in town on the Indian Pacific so long ago. Am I a nostalgic wanker or what? ;) Hostel and wine tour ensured it was not too boring. As always a good drink helps a town go down. lol | Mikebond Thu Dec 25, 2008 16:54 UTC
