so its midyear... end of financial year and the myriad of reports and calculations and general busy crazy times are upon me. i havent travelled at all this year, i havent had a day off work. im tired to the bone, run ragged, am heading towards exhaustion. and there is no end in sight, as my imposed travel exile does not end until 31st december 2009 (is there a 31st december, i forget?). anyway... life goes on, and its through VT pages and my lovely friends who send me postcards that i keep going on, and knowing that next year travel will be back on the cards.
yet for all of this, there are people suffering more out there. people who vote but are not heard. friends who are having hard times with sickness in the family, or worse. people losing jobs and not having money to eat, let alone to travel.
i am truly blessed. and i plan to be back on VT, showing my new attitude to life more often. being a better friend to those who i already hold dear, and hopefully making new friends. bring on the rest of the year!!!! :)

well its been like, forever, since ive built a new vt page, but finally, i have started on my south american pages. the trip was taken in november/december 2008, and 6 months on, ive finally gotten out of my rut and started to remember the joys that this trip has bought. please look at my travel pages, and click on valparaiso or santiago. they are the two ive done so far! . |
