"Game for some wildlife adventure?" Mpumalanga by Jenniflower
Mpumalanga Travel Guide: 74 reviews and 251 photos
In my opinion this is the most natural province in South Africa. With so many natural wonders, lush and green vegetation and a real touch of Africa. From waterfalls to canyons, wild bush landscape to mountains and caves...
I have visited here often through the years and never cease to wonder at its magnificence.
- Pros:Tons of game, craft, stunning natural landscapes and cultural history!
- Cons:Crime is a real problem in many areas.
- In a nutshell:Love this place and would like to settle here one day

This country has so many unique scenes and beauty, and varied in areas. You my get a chance to live here? Great presentation with pictures and comments. The cover pic was surreal.
This looks like a great area! I especially liked your waterfall photos and your moving tip on Soweto. And the "art gallery you can sleep in..."
I'll agree with the earlier posters, Jen - this really is a marvellous page with equally marvellous photos. It really brings home what a special area this is.
Nice page about this lovely area with so much to see! What an amazing place!
Thanks for your lovely comment Ingrid :) This is the area we wish to settle in when we return to South Africa, so you'll just HAVE to come for a visit!!!
Oh wow, I would even prefer this to Drakensbergs for hiking. Thanks Jenn :-)) Nothing is better than real insights :-)) These waterfalls, this landscape... ahhh, stunning :-))
Jenn, this is a very special page - coming from you who knows the 'score'! I was only in this part of SA a very brief time, but it is still my 'world' #1 spot! Amazing Mac Mac Falls reminded me of Kalambo's plunge during my Zambia days. Beaut photos!
I really like this page Jenni - see you had a lovely holiday in Southern Africa :-)
Nice page and very nice pics. I was thinking of taking my girlfriend here on vacation as has never been here ,after seeing your page I need to make a plan and get here hahaha as my last trip here was about 2 years ago.
real trip of a lifetime stuff, thanks for sharing
