A lesser known province as it has wide expanses of desert and terrain. But a beauty lies within this. People often go to the Western Cape and tend to overlook this province, which is a pity.
The desert is wide, open, empty and hot, but if you look closer there is a lot going on on the land. The wild flowers that spring up during August are also beauties to behold on the desert floor.
There is quite a large farm community here, as well as a san community. If you are wanting a more relaxing holiday, with a bit of exercise, this is the place for you! |
