"A characterful county called Kent" Kent by Jenniflower
Kent Travel Guide: 1,700 reviews and 3,936 photos
With us living in Greater London, Kent is not too far to travel to for day or weekend visits. It is fondly referred to as the 'Garden of England', and this is no surprise.
It has so much to offer in the way of beauty, tradition, architecture and charm, and does not disappoint.
Please note: as Kent is not too far from London, some of its tips relate to my London page too (off the beaten track tips). If you have rated my London page already with a similar tip, please do not rate this one. Thanks!
- Pros:Beautiful and seren - great for a break from city life!
- Cons:Expensive with narrrrrrrow roads
- In a nutshell:Definately worth visiting often!

Loved your Kent page. We used to visit a lot pre-1958 as Grandmother lived in anterbury and had uncles there and Margate area. Lots of memories you have revived.
