I've lived in Yorba Linda most of my life, watching it turn from from oil fields and orange groves into homes. Despite the suburban sprawl, it is still home and I love living in southern California--particularly this area in north Orange County.
Yorba Linda, named after the Spanish, then Mexican, later Californian, finally American (US), landowner Don Bernardo Yorba, is most famously (if at all) known as the birthplace of Richard Milhouse Nixon..that's right Tricky Dick. His presidential library is located adjacent to the house he grew up in; and about two miles from my house.
