Brighton is a town which is often misunderstood by its reputation as being full of gay people which its not!! But it is full students due to the two universities.
Its a typical seaside town, showing the best of of all things british, fish and chips, pigeons (not always good) and plenty of seagulls flying over you attempting to pinch your chips!
Brighton has a very lively scene where nearly everything goes, from artists, to hippies, beach goers, plenty of university students and tourists and visitors from all over the world...Brighton seems to have something to suit everyone!
Brighton pier is a very cool place, brimming full of rides, including a couple of rollarcoasters for the adventurous and even little ones for the younger ones
further up the pier is also traditional seaside shops selling typical english kitsch like sticks of rock and candy floss!
At night time the whole pier lights up in bright lights and ut all looks quite pretty!
Brighton has a very lively nightlife scene, owing to both the large amount of students in the area, and the fact that its a seaside town. With the effect of the new late licence, clubs and pubs are staying up much later, and are opening much earlier in order to get those punters in for extra few pints.
Due to the large number of clubs etc, there is generally something for everyone, from funky jazz, to raving, to old school, and even rnb, hip hop. Through the week, this also becomes really cheap, with bottled beers and alcopops going for as little as £1..
- Pros:Lots of places to go out and see
- Cons:Pigeons that try n steal your chips, and a lil busy at weekends/holidays
- In a nutshell:A typical british seaside town with wicked fish n chips!

Used to have holidays in Brighton and Hove in the 1950s. Doesn't sound as if it's changed much, and the beach looks just as uncomfortable!
