One of the more well known reasons people visit kuala lumpur is the famous petronas towers (as seen in "entrapment") which you can go up in the mornings and walk along the bridge between the two towers (however, many holiday insurence policies do not cover this! so check!)

Set in the golden triangle, KL's very expensive district its surrounded by expensive hotels, and is also home to KLCC one of the main shopping centres for Kuala Lumpur. Home to shops such as Gucci and other designer shops. However, also has a good old fashioned Topshop for those needing a bit of good old home grown fashions! Some bargins are waiting to be found in KL

    very helpful tip..am going to Malaysia in jan. am a lover of shoes, i mean, crazy for it and love buying them!! any suggestion where i can go and get good deal of shoes? and yeah cheap!
