The last two reviews really said it all - we loved the location - great little tea room around the corner, "The Muffin Man" - wonderful food, fairly priced; the Copthorne is quiet, yet accessible to most anything - we walked down to High Street and there are shops and restaurants in either direction - loved sitting in the tea room just watching the people come and go - very pricey neighborhood - a 2-room flat near the hotel runs close to a million pounds - Diana was said to have many friends who lived nearby. Kensington Palace is a short walk - and the adjoining park/gardens are spectacular.
