Swimming in the Blue Hole

Clear water and lots of fish.
We took a dive boat out to the atoll,
A rough two hour trip on a windy day.Well worth the effort. While the divers are down in the hole the snorkelors have a couple of hours to swim around the reef that surrounds it.You can't get lost so lomg as you stay in the hole which is not as big as it seems from aerial shots you see of it.
This is a place of cosmic significance.

The river was flowing slow and low when we got there making it easy to jump from rock to rock.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Good weather/Clear water
Cons:It's a little scruffy around the edges
In a nutshell:You'll think you went back in time to Key West 30 years ago
