Reason to go to Guam? There are three reasons to go to Guam:
a) If you want to waste your time absolutely senseless.
b) You are an asian couple looking for a perfect honeymoon island
c) You working for Uncle Sam
Everybody else should not go there. There is nothing special, except a "Hard-Rock-Cafe Guam" T-shirt.
Two things you need to know, Guam is part of the USA, so take your currency in USD with you. If you need to drive, a rental car is much cheaper than a cab.
Guam is useful as a hub to go from East Asia to Yap or back. Take care that your stop over time is not too long, the only shop which is opened all day long at the airport is a Burger King. |
