Lloret De Mar is a nice tourist resort in Costa Brava Spain and it is just the right place if you want to have fun and/or relax with friends. The town is small but really nice and well organized. There are all kind of amenities that may be useful to tourists: ATMs, pizzerias, restaurants of all kinds, lots of Discos, Clubs, Bars and so on...
I stayed here with some friends for one week and the only thing which we didn't like was unfortunately the weather that was not so good during our stay. No one would have ever thought that we could have found rain, wind and variable weather.
Here in Lloret I also had a VT Meeting! I met "Maltesa", a VT member from Malta(Lindsey in real life) and we went out together almost every night! We went dancing to many discos but especially we enjoyed Hollywood Disco! |

nothing strange about Catalan being more similar to Italian. Spanish (castillian) was more influenced by Muslim conquest, while the kingdom of Aragon (current Catalunya being part of it) had more historical links with areas we know today as part of Italy. | Luca_From_Mobys Sun Apr 8, 2007 18:00 UTC
