Mendoza is the city I was born....
Most of the tourist in Argentina visit first Patagonia, but I always recommend go to Mendoza...there are a lot of vineyards, mountains, is ideal for hikking, climbing, with a better weather than in Patagonia, and with a possibility to taste the best argentinian wines!!!

There are many wine cellar in Mendoza, but for me in the Capital City the best one is La Rural (Ruttini). It has a museum inside, where you can see how it was made the wine in 19th century...also you can taste wine in an special room , where you can see art objects in relation with the wine..
