"Across the Pond" Germantown by liveandlove

Other then several short trips this year, my husband and I took a 14 night cruise which departed from Baltimore, MD and ended in Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. The stops in between were fantastic: Funchal, Maderia; Ponto Delgado, Azores; Gibraltar; Villefranche & Eze, France; Montecarlo ($$$$), and Livorno, where we took a train to Pisa. What a darling town, but no one bothered to tell us how sweet it was.This was the longest cruise we'd taken and we had a wonderful time...great people, beautiful scenery, lots of time to relax and reflect as well. I would highly recommend it to all.
