Colorado Springs receives a great deal of tourist attention due to the many attractions in and near the city. It sits near the foot of Pikes Peak, which is Colorado's most famous mountain.
There are some great things to see in this area. Pikes Peak itself draws a lot of visitors up its road and cog railway. The Air Force Academy is also a magnet for tourism. Then, you have the Olympic Training Center, where tommorow's athletes prepare for the games. |
