Rome is well known in the circles of travelers. As the seat of an empire, its influence is seen throughout the world. An enormous amount of historical sites and churches exist here. It would take a very long vacation to really get to know this city. There are fountains, domes, and columns as far as the eye can see. After enjoying the various sites, then it is time to eat a nice dinner and enjoy the gelato. It is only a matter of time before I return here again to explore the city. Even three visits so far just do not do the city enough justice. There are a variety of air and rail possibilities to access the city. Some people even take a cruise on the Mediterranean and dock at a nearby port in order to see Rome on a shore tour. The city does tend to fascinate most who visit here. Perhaps it will do the same to you (or it already has). |
