Well, here it is. The place that God calls His own. This is holy to Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike. You can walk a few paces in some areas and literally walk into another culture. This is a city of walls, visible boundaries, and invisible boundaries. Jerusalem has had a strong pulse for a very long time, and I suspect it will continue. The history is amazing, regardless of what your beliefs may be. It had been my dream to come here for awhile, and I finally saw a window of opportunity. Seizing that chance, I do not regret the decision to come to Jerusalem, even during some of its troubled times. This is a place where you can look at religion, architecture, culture, history, and how it all seems to come together. Sometimes, you have to look a little harder than normal and perhaps in a different place than you expected to find that truly special experience here, yet it can be had. Be warned that you could leave feeling like you did not have enough time to see everything that you wanted to see. In that case, make your best effort, and be glad you got here. |

oescholido Fri Feb 13, 2009 00:45 UTC According to Jewish law, those who were condemned to death were taken out of the city walls and killed. More attention will be given to this site due to activities that will unearth the Ark of The Covenant. Maranatha | Stephen-KarenConn Thu Jun 21, 2007 17:30 UTC Excellent page! I've been privileged to visit Jerusalem twice, and would love to go again and again. There's no other place like it on earth. | gilabrand Tue Feb 1, 2005 16:28 UTC Looks like you covered a lot.
