Sign in with FacebookI lived in Durango for 5 years. I saw the town from both the college student perspective, and the perspective of being a resident and worker. The town is very "touristy" but there are many things to do if you don't just want to be a tourist. You don't have to be an outdoor nut to enjoy the town, I certainly am not an outdoor nut, but of appreciation of the outdoors and nature is a must to live in Durango.
- Pros:Great food, great beer, good people, beautiful scenery
- Cons:everything is expensive, it is a little out in the middle of nowhere.
- In a nutshell:A nice place to enjoy life.
