a great place for honeymooners Our first impression of Venice is like a flooded city... Till reality sinks in, it is the famous Venice city - located in the ocean!
Upon arrival from the train station - Venizia Santa Lucia (this is the final stop - do not go down to the Venezia Mestre), go to the front of the train and you will see the tickets for the Ferries....
Only in Venice did I find the best TURRONES candies (nougat with almond/nuts),,, I always thought this was a Kapampangan delicacy but apparently, the Venetian Turrones was made back in the 1860s..
Shopping for fake bags - FENDI, GUCCIs, Louis Vuittons are in the open and right infront of the boutiques of Fendi, Guccis, LVs... They are sold by African men - and you can bargain in the street.
However, I read a sign in a Gucci store warning people who buy fake goods. The warning says: "Buying counterfiet goods is supporting organized/syndicated crime. Be aware of high custom fines if you buy these products." |
