Huntington Beach Hotel Tips by kenstan

The Hilton and Hyatt are next to each other on PCH both have crossings to the beach if I was going to stay in a hotel in Huntington Beach I would chose the Hyatt over the Hilton.The Hilton is nice but the Hyatt is newer and nicer of the two.

Of the two high end hotels I would say this is the nicer of the two The hilton is nice but nothing like the Hyatt.

This is really in Newport Beach south of the Santa Ana River on Coast Hwy. No beach view but across the street from the beach. Standard rooms

Unique Qualities: For the location not a bad place to stay across from the beach but no beach view since houses face the beach.

Well there are some small older motels on PCH with kids waiting for there parents to die so they can sell the property for millions.The last I remember was a strawberry field and the day the father died the kids sold to Disney for 50 million.So you can head up Beach Blvd and the further you get from the beach the cheaper it will be.Watch out for Anaheim they have a very high room tax.Also when you get closer to Disneyland it will start getting higher again. Huntington Beach is a smaller city in Orange County so from the beach to say Disneyland is about 30 minutes.So if you looked in Costa Mesa Fountain Valley Garden Grove they would be about in the middle of the two and be alot cheaper than a beach city or Disneyland area.
