The "Emerald Necklace" is a string of greenery stretching from the Commons in Downtown to the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plains. I must say that the people i know have not ventured as far as the Arboretum. It is very sad. Being from Maine, I know what beautiful forests/parks look like, and this is it, at its BEST. If you can find a better handmade park with as much space and freedom to create your own path, let me know....
