Independance Square is full of fantastic Statues and Monuments and surrounded by amazing buildings.
I love walking around the centre at any time of the day or night.
This statue is awesome! Look at the size of it compared to the bridge and the office blocks!
The dome in the foreground is over part of a very luxurious, very large underground shopping mall!

Kiev is one of the nicest cities i've been to! but i dislike the fact that they have let the big companies build the SHOPPING MALL just beneath the very city centre.
Ken, mind blowing Angel pic & I think I will check out Shooters, do I need a six gun, LOL. ; )))
Interesting culture and observations. I thought people in the Ukraine were having a tough time financially--but that shopping mall! Excellent pictures!
Only just a handful of your photos already made me envious regarding the gifted "eye" that caught them. Hope to see many more of these fine images some time soon. My congratulations, lucky Ken, well done indeed!
