Not from Barcelona

When I visited Barcelona I went to see a Dali exhibition. I'm afraid that I only speak English so the poster said something like,

"....blah..blah..blah.. Salvador Dali ..blah..blah........"

I went expecting to see his paintings but instead it was an exhibition of photographs of the man himself.

Now I know that Dali isn't really from Barcelona but I took this photo (erm... of a photo) IN Barcelona.

Still, it's a great photo of the man.

Place by the Harbour

You may notice in my pages that I photograph a lot of buildings. Rather than being a keen architect, reading up on the different styles and influences I am actually more of a house spotter. I have no idea what this building is but I liked it and it seemed to me to be typical of a Spanish Seaside Office.

(I would be happy to mention your name if you can identify this place so that I can caption it properly!)

I like to either get up early in the morning (I took these pictures at 0730) so that there are no people in the pictures - or maybe just one or two for effect - or at sunset.

The best "night shots" are usually taken just as the sun has gone down and there is still some light in the sky.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A beautiful city, second only to Madrid in Spain ;-)
Cons:Very expensive
In a nutshell:Spain as you would imagine it

Great views from the top of Columbus monument. Pity, I didn't know it's possible to get there, but will defenately do it next time.
