Taking a stroll down Circular Quay felt like heaven! The early morning sun shone brightly over the skyline and gave the sea a glimmer. At night it was so beautifully lit up that it looked like sparkling diamante. Over rated? Never! Simply admiring the beauty of the city. Most activities in Sydney are centered around its harbour and waterfront. Circular Quay offers a breathtaking view of the city's skyline, harbour bridge and the sea. Sydney Opera House is situated here. The many souvenir kiosks, street performers, tourists and the locals seen around the Quay provide life and makes great "people watching" activity.

9 sections of an orange. That is what the Sydney Opera House resembles. A prominent landmark that left every first timer in Sydney in awe. Designed by Jorn Utzon, a Danish architect in 1956 and built on the Sydney waterfront. Every morning we walked here for the creative energy and mood. Nobody leaves Sydney without being here.

The street is busy and many Asians seems to favour shopping here. Shops offer a wide variety of choices from luxury to consumer goods. Reasonable price compared to other shopping outlets. A fun place to walk, shop and eat!

A great place to spend with the family, Luna Park comes to life at night. Entrance is free. Charges are only for rides. You might want to try the Flying Saucer if you are not faint hearted. Otherwise, just stick to the Ferris Wheel.
