As a woman traveling alone, I found the people to be warm and welcoming. The taxi drivers in particular were friendly and appreciative of my attempts to speak Spanish. It's such an affectionate culture. Here is my favorite cab driver Armando, who gave me the Latin goodbye of a kiss on each cheek. |

Nice page. I was in BA around the same time. Too bad you missed the VT meeting on 2/25. That's great you got to see a concert in the Colon Theater. They were all sold out when I went. Took the tour though. Will have to see on my next trip. :) |
