I remember when I hated Montreal! But the more I visit, the better it gets!
This trip was my first time visiting in the summer and I couldn't believe the energy in the city - so much to do!
I was fortunate enough to be able to go during the Jazzfest and even better.. I saw Etta James in concert and can you believe she's almost 70 years old??? The girl was still rockin' it!
A fabulous weekend of music, food, wine and good company.

|  | Meeting VTer Shashasharon What I love about VT above and beyond the helpful tips and fun forums are the people that I've met. When I told Sharon that I would be in Montreal, her automatic reaction was to open her home to me as if we've known each other for years.
We visited Sharon and her family for brunch and had lot's of fun (even though Andrew and Hotdog (honoury Vter sans profile) thought making fun of me would be the highlight of their day... >:(

| | French Canadians CAN be nice!!! Sometimes (believe it or not) you meet people who aren't a part of VT and they're really really great people!! (i know.. shocking, isn't it?)
These are friends of HotDog, Annie is the BEST tour guide I've ever had. Just a melting pot of all kinds of information about Montreal!
