I was asked if I would help chaperone a bunch of teenage foreign visa students at the beach today...I must've been drunk (shocker) when I was asked because I said yes. I was dreading it when I woke up this morning but ended up having a FABULOUS TIME!!! Bring a cooler of goodies if you like but there are all sorts of food vendors down the strip if you don't want to lug things down there. Grab your bikini and a ball (the nets are all set up for you!) and have fun!! Oh, and don't forget the sunscreen...it can get really hot in T.O!

A great place to chill on a Sunday afternoon, especially if you have a hangover. It's easy to find a quiet corner to read a book or take a nap...200 acres, i should hope so! Or, if you're still drunk from Saturday nite, you can always terrorize the wildlife.. and don't miss the Cherry Blossoms in the Spring!

This is a fantastic place if you're a cyclist, rollerblader or a 10 year old. There are bike/blade paths around the whole island and right in the middle is Centreville. A mini amusement park for kids with rides and wading pools. There's also beaches (see off the beaten path tip) in various parts of the island and BBQ pits. Great really for anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors. And they have beer..

Directions: Go to Union Station and you can either walk to take any bus one stop and you're down by the ferry docks. $6.00 for adults $3.00 for kids and some student discount I can't remember
