What was supposed to be a relaxing week in Ireland (couple of days here and there with a stop at the Guiness Brewrey) turned into one helluva road trip!!
Armed with a road map and travel book, in 7 days, we went from Belfast to Dublin, along the cost to Cork, down to Mizen head, up to the Cliffs of Moher and back to Belfast.
The southwest coast was beautiful but I found the whole country to be pretty much a tourist trap. There was actually signs in the more remote areas that said "leprechaun crossing". =|
But all in all, as expensive as it was (and totally not what i expected), we had a great time and am glad I went! |
