Name of Shop: Historic Sanchez House
A few different stores in this same location. It's shiny, pretty and very very reasonably priced. Everything from Swarovski crystal to insence, toe rings to weird little Chinese Christmas ornaments, this place will have you oooh and ahhhing througout the stores. I shopped at Sunburst Crystal.

Name of Shop: St. Augustine Art Glass
I was floored when I went to this shop. The most beautiful stain glass art I've ever seen! I found that most places to shop in St. Aug was very reasonable considering the fact that it's a tourist town. The store itself was impressive but what got me was what i call the Enchanted Garden in the back. Filled with flowers and vines, a little sitting area and fairies and gnomes and bees and butterflies!! All stained glass peeking out of every corner. Absolutely breath taking! I was sorry I couldn't go back during the day to see it again... next time..

We wandered into this place after a heavy night of drinking ( I can't figure out why they were still open) and had a blast with the owners! Ryan & his friend (can't remember his name) was so great and let us play dress up in their store! It's a second hand shop with really funky cool retro style clothing (men's & ladies), accessories and shoes. I can't remember too much of the store except I had waaaaaaaaay too much fun shopping here. I bought a beautiful beaded bag haggled down from $45.00 to $35.00 PLUS they gave me a gorgeous rhinestone hairpin! Sometimes it pays to be drunk happy girl Open 12-6 Daily, closed on Wednesdays.

I'll have to research a bit. I usually don't go to the bars too often there--usually restaurants and pub type places. There was an incredibly cool acid-like club I was at one night. I'll have to see if I can find it again. |
