Nightlife Spot: Tavern de Gallo
The way we found this pub was that we were wandering through St. George street and we heard some Pirates singing. We followed the voice and entered the tiniest little pub filled with Pirates and Wenches. Behind the bar is the patio, very dark, lit up with only tiki torches (they had no electricity ya know..) there's a table of Pirates singing and drinking and all the patrons were having a great time clapping along. They only served wine and beer (and very little selection at that) but it's definately a must see!

I'll have to research a bit. I usually don't go to the bars too often there--usually restaurants and pub type places. There was an incredibly cool acid-like club I was at one night. I'll have to see if I can find it again. |
