This was my 3rd time in Cuba and I absolutely love it! You can either stay at the resort and be incredibly braindead or you can drive 2 hours to Havana and bum around like the dirty little backpackers like we all really are and listen to local bands on great patios while sipping a mojito... Oh and the architechture is gorgeous!
Here's a general tip if you decide on a resort trip. As beautiful as the beaches are in Varadero, the closer to the tip of the peninsula you get, the beaches get a bit rockier and not so white. BUT, the newer resorts are there. |
