The Maple Leaf: an "A" for effort

  • Nightlife Spot: The Maple Leaf

Like a loser, I go all the way to England and ask Davey to take me to the "Maple Leaf". A bar that's supposed to have the ambiance of a Canadian sports bar (hence, Maple Leaf).
The place is decked out in faux wood panelling (for that Canadian log cabin effect), a couple of hockey jerseys on the wall, a stuffed Moosehead mounted on the wall and a FREAKING HUMAN SIZED GRIZZLY BEAR!

If Red Green and Mat Sundin had a love shack, it would be this... the Maple Leaf.....

    Nice try...Sorry, try again..

the Cove: Pints in a dark, smoky pub..

  • Nightlife Spot: the Cove

I adore this little pub. A tiny bar, 2 small sunken rooms and a terrace, it's one of the coziest places I've been. Grab a chair, a stool or sit on the steps or floor... where ever you can find a comfy spot. Once you're there, you won't want to leave!

I've heard the cornish pasties are good too but i didn't want to take up prime Guiness real estate in my tummy...
