a world still apart Although my stay in the island was not very long (12 days) many are the reasons why YOU should all come at least once to see it with its pros and cons...........
You'll be surpried of the variety of landscapes the biggest island of the carrabean can offer: from the white sandy and touristic beaches of varadero to the busiest and smoggiest city of Habana, passing throu the jungle vegetation of the middle part with such a richness of water down to the lack of almost everything in the subburbs of Santiago and Guantanamo. Should you decide to go and pay a visit to this island.....you shouldn't miss at least one of the Cayos (Coco or Largo the most popular but be aware of mosquitos!) , ciudad de la habana, worth the entire length of your stay for its history, people, art.
DO NOT GO TO VARADERO that's not Cuba! Go and visit the city of Trinidad. |
