Joe Carter - Having just found Iolanda Mara Savaglio at the beginning of October 2008, I am looking forward to all new travel experiences that we will share. Our very first time meeting was in Rome, Italy during a weekend from 31 Oct 08 to 3 Nov 08. We traveled to Rome from opposite directions in Italy by train. Our meeting was very romantic.

Joe Carter & Iolanda Mara Savaglio - Having just found my new love in Italy, I am very happy. Iolanda has worked as an archeologist in southern Italy, taught ancient Greek and Latin near Milan during the archeological off period months November through March, and is also fluent in Spanish, French, English, and Italian. This is the most wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, passionate, amazing woman that I have ever known. Can you tell that I am happy???

Joe Carter & my ex-wife Birgul - We were married for 5.5 years before divorcing as we grew apart. We ended our marriage with no children, no debt, and had an uncontested divorced. Although I am currently a staff sergeant in the Air Force, I will be promoted to Technical Sergeant in January 2009 so I am certain to move every 2 to 3 years. By the way, the main picture being used was taken at my ex-wife and my wedding party in Feb 2003 in Adana, Turkey.

Joe Carter - My ex-wife Birgul and I visited my parents Joe Carter and Mary Carter from 24 July to 4 August 2006. I saw three Cardinals games while I was there in the new Busch Stadium, but unfortunately they lost all three. Grrrr. This picture was taken with my former dentist before I joined the military, Dr. Gersten. He was my dentist for about three years, and my parents have since used him as a dentist for the last ten years or so. Dr. Gersten is a very good man and dentist at Affordable Dentist. If you needed a dentist, I would recommend this place.

Joe Carter - My ex-wife Birgul and I arrived at Aviano Air Base, Italy on 3 June 2006 and divorced after 5.5 years of marriage on 26 August 2008. I will continue to be stationed here single until June 2009 so I will have a lot more time to travel.

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, GERMANY STATS From My Last Base
(8 May 2003 to 31 May 2006)

I was deployed 137 days to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar from 11 Sep 05 to 26 Jan 06.

I was deployed 93 days to Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq (Including Kuwait) from 13 Mar to 14 Jun 04.

The total number of days I was deployed at Spangdahlem AB was 230 days.

The total number of days I was assigned to Spangdahlem AB was 1118 days.

The total percentage of time that I was deployed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany was 20.6%. I arrived on 8 May 2003, and the last day I was assigned was 31 May 2006.

Here at Aviano Air Base Italy, I was deployed to Balad Air Base, Iraq from 13 Sep 07 to 26 Jan 08.

Mehmet and Aysel Atalan are a great couple living in Adana, Turkey.
