| UP HELLY AA! LERWICK, SHETLAND 2005 |
Hello, thanks for visiting! For now, I'm working on my Grand Canyon National Park section. This is where I've lived & worked since 1997. I will try to provide a few tips from a "locals" perspective.
I have just returned from another UK trip. Shetland for Up Helly Aa! was a blast. What a party!! The sight of 900 "Guizers" throwing their flaming torches onto the Viking Longship, with fireworks exploding overhead & a Brass Band playing away is AWESOME! |

|  | Travels with "Aggie" This is my new World Traveler puppy, "Aggie"- a real ENGLISH Springer Spaniel. She had quite the adventure, traveling with me from Cheshire England to Grand Canyon Arizona. No problems with the 11hr flight from Heathrow (LHR) to Phoenix. British Airways did a fine job with her. Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix, AZ, (PHX) has a *VERY* nice dog walk park, "The Boneyard" by the International Terminal. Very nice after a long flight! |
