Sports Travel: Snorkelling and Scuba Diving in Bali

It was my first time trying out snorkelling in the big open sea (I have watched Jaws way too many times) so i was a bit reluctant to give it a go, when my mum just pushed me in anyway...When i finally put my head down to see all the fish beneath me, i was amazed, they were such beautiful colourful fish. Definately something i recommend to anyone. If you have a fear of whats swimming around you like i do, then dont worry, as soon as you see all the wonderful things beneath you, you will leave your fears at the door!!

Equipment: We were on a cruise that day, and it was a day/night trip to another island. If i knew what it was called i would have put it in, unfortunately im a bit spastic hehe!! I will get back to these tips, when i find out where we were!!! But overall the company were pretty good, they provide food, drink, and all equipment on the whole trip, so no need to worry about what to take, all you need is bikini or spedos =)

Your page brought back nice memories about our trip to Bali ten years ago. And I had a laugh reading about your problems with humidity. My wife had the same. During the first day she blamed me for bringing her to this place. But later she enjoyed it.

The monkey forrest reminds me of the Monkeys in Gibraltar. Good tips for someone who has never been to Bali, useful and informative. Kat

I've to agree with you on 1 thing, everything is cheap, cheap, cheap in Bali. Was there last month, but that won't be my last.
