The streets!!!!!: Bargins Galore!!

  • Name of Shop: The streets!!!!!

It wasnt a shop!!!!! You can find bargins anywhere, on the street, and in shops. Its worth bartering for everything. Although in some upmarket shops this would be frowned upon! But you can find anything you want.

What To Buy: Oakley sunglasses for $3 and they look real!! Surf labels, home furnishings, perfumes, jewlery, shoes, art!!! Just about anything you want is somewhere around the place! But shell necklaces and earrings are also a favourite!! Depending on what you are really in to, you can pretty much find something to suit everyone!

What To Pay: My family went over millionaires when we changed our currency. But even though everything is cheap, the money somehow goes somewhat quickly! But $3 USD is what you can expect to pay for most clothing on streets (excluding surf shops) any antiques, and sunglasses and perfume...You should always go to the lowest price possible, and dont give in to any of them who tells you that their children needs operations!!

Your page brought back nice memories about our trip to Bali ten years ago. And I had a laugh reading about your problems with humidity. My wife had the same. During the first day she blamed me for bringing her to this place. But later she enjoyed it.

The monkey forrest reminds me of the Monkeys in Gibraltar. Good tips for someone who has never been to Bali, useful and informative. Kat

I've to agree with you on 1 thing, everything is cheap, cheap, cheap in Bali. Was there last month, but that won't be my last.
