Tranquil Village | Overlooking out of the village |
After meeting Jacobs Grandparents. And eating some lunch. Jake and I went to explore what this tiny village had to offer. There wasnt a lot to do, so frisbee at the beach was on the schedule. Finding a frisbee to buy proved to be a challenge. There are two little shops you can buy bits of food. And three basr and one fish n chip shop. Unfortunately only one of these places accepted visas from other countries. And you cant draw money out of your visa in this shop, so i was pretty much broke, with nothing to do, and no money to eat. But somehow we got by that week. Living off Jacob's Grandparents home cooking. |
| | Where we lived! So here she is, a big two story house. Jakes Grandfather was a war veteran, so hes a hard nut by far, and his stories are so halerious. Anyone from Europe except England, he classes them as wig wogs. He drinks his days away! Hes quick off his feet for insults and makes you feel incredibly small and stupid. And to top things off hes become senile over the past few years and a bit of a grouch. Overall a good guy and funny experience!!! |
The peaceful little beach! This is where we spent most of our time. Its pretty much the only thing to do while your there. There are two beaches in Rhosneigr. This is the quieter beach i think. I found it more beautiful, the waves were good, and the sand was beautiful with no rocks. The other beach is mainly for boats and other water activities. On a clear day, you can see the huge hills in the distance, on the horizon, its really beautiful! | | |
