    • Luggage And Bags: During summer, Mount Maunganui is known for its long days, and high sunshine hours. So pack light, you wont need much, because its so muggy!

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Jandals (thongs) singlets, shorts, bikinis. And pack a few jerseys and pants just in case. As most of New Zealand weather is so unpredictable these days!

    Toiletries & Medical Supplies: You can pretty much find anything you want around the mount, and if you cant find it there, then Tauranga is just a short drive away. But stock up on mozzie repellent! Can be killers in summer!

    Photo Equipment: The white sandy beaches go for miles, and around the coast there are some pretty beautiful beaches, so pack lots of film, and opt for digital cameras!

    Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A usual tent will do the trick for people staying in camp ground. But there are some pretty stunning hotels on the beachfront that are worth staying at, sometimes offering cheap deals!
