Not too big nor too small!! I just love this photo. I dont know why but i just love it!! Well anyway this is New Plymouth and i think it has a lot to offer. It has around 70,000 inhabitants. The CBD is full of great shops, cafes, and restuarant/pubs. The nightlife is rocking from Thursday till Saturday, from Kareoke to Strippers, to Dance Parties. New Plymouth has it all. The scenery is beautiful. The people are friendly. And beaches stretch forever around the coast. |

| | Why not stay for a week! If its possible, i think New Plymouth deserves a few days stay. Although theres nothing thats extra-ordinary that you just have to see. Its a really cosy and energetic small city. The beaches are endless, in summer, the days are endless, cloudless blue skies, perfect sunsets, perfect mountain views, nice walkways, and good shops and food! What more can you ask for? |
The super famous wind wand and walkway Renovations started taking place over 5 years ago on the walkway around the beach, and a giant windwand was formed. Millions of dollars went into this huge gigantic red stick thats swings in the air. Over the years i always wondered why someone would spend so much money on such a heap of junk. But over time i guess its grown on me too! On a perfect day, it looks stunning, a big red stick swinging side to side, hehe but now with the walkway fully completed, theres nothing better than taking a stroll up and down the beaches. Now even better, there are little car bikes that you can cycle down the walkway on. | | | Again on the main walkway, around the coast! |
