Transportation: From Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi

Getting TO/AROUND: To get to Langkawi, you either can take Bus or Train to Alor Star from Kuala Lumpur. The bus trip gonna take you about 6 to 7 hours from Kuala Lumpur, and been advice to take night bus, or night train, so you can get to the distination early in the morning. Once you reach to Alor Star bus station, you should get a taxi to get you to the jetty at Kuala Kedah. If you take a bus to Kuala Kangsar, you should do the same thing as taking bus to Kedah. If you taking bus to Kuala Perlis, the trip from the jetty is very near to Langkawi Island, it only take you about 45 mins rather than take a boat from Kuala Kedah. Bus Station:- Kuala Lumpur - Pudu Raya Kedah - Alor Star Perlis - Kuala Perlis
