Hindu Festival Celebration This is biggest hindu ceremony which they celebrate every once a year, followed with hindu calender, this huge celebration will be celebrate at batu Caves in Selangor, its located about 15 mins drive from heart of Kuala Lumpur, i went there with 5 of us, which is Bok, Ellie, peter and Mike 3 of us are VT member mike is from HC and peter, i'm not sure, i have to ask ellie again about this, as soon as we arrive, Bok droped us at the bridge opposite batu caves.
As bok looking for a parking, me, ellie, mike and peter walking to entrance to watch it with our own eyes, and would like to see the exactly happening, as we walk in, me and ellie too busy taking picture till we didn't realised we been dragged inside..... and been seperated from mike and peter.. but, me and ellie make sure we stick together and did not lose each other.. too many people.. just imgine you in the middle of tall people, and people push you aside and you lose your direction and lose your friends... |
|  | Biggest Thaipusam Celebration in Malaysia So just amaze by seeing the crowd, we seen millions of people watching the unusual things, hundreds of thousand was participates on the devotion, this is not inclusive kids who was participate and it also attract hundred thousands of tourist.
This hindu festival will be celebrate by hindu community on the full moon of tamil calender. Basically the divotee will be fasting and pray for clean themselve for the past sin. On the day of the festival, the devotee will shave their heads, and that is one of the sacrifies they can do for the lord, not to mentioned, they also will be carring various of kavadi and pearcing their bodies, cheek and tongue. the simplest kavadi they carrying is a pot of milk. |
