I took a collectivo van from Playa Del Carmen ($2.60 US) and was dropped off at the entrance road. From there there are several ways to get the 500 yds or so to the park entrance: walk, take a cab or take a "train" which is actually pulled by a tractor. We opted for the $2 US train ride, since one in our party was injured.
Anyway - get into the park and head for the edge. The views are so wonderful! |
| | Park-like Setting This are mayan ruins for the masses. The park is small, easy to get around with it's well maintained paths and accessible. The ruins are pretty, if not awe-inspiring. As i said, the focus is the setting. |
