Stayed there years ago to attend a company's Christmas party. The rooms are gorgeous and the view is great!

Stayed there and it ws beautiful. They have gorgeous old brick walls on one side of each room, which adds lots of charm! The beds are so comfy and they serve warm cookies at the check-in desk. You can also purchase a parking permit for a garage around the corner, which is very convenient. The Hotel is right near everything. Quincy market is right there, and great restaurants are nearby, and of course you can looks straight up State Street and see the old State House which is very picturesque!

Chandler Inn Hotel: Really nice and basic!

My husband and I stayed at the Chandler Inn on a Friday night recently. We had planned to go to a concert that night and wanted a reasonable place to stay. We went there and the desk attendant, Andy was extremely friendly and helpful. He helped us find a place to park and told us where there were good places to eat! And when I was running late, and kept forgetting things in my room, he even ended up calling 3 different cabs for us!
Unique Qualities: There's a really nice bar in the lower level, called Fritz. The South End of Boston is very gay friendly and this is a gay bar and it is hopping and friendly and really nice. There's a very nice outdoor patio area where people can smoke too
